WELCOME TO ST.BARNABAS CHURCH, CROSLAND MOOR, HUDDERSFIELD, WEST YORKSHIRE. St. Barnabas Church. ![]() |
![]() WHY GO TO CHURCH? Everyone knows that people go to church to say prayers, sing hymns and listen to sermons, but why? Christians believe God our creator is the source of life and most of us recognise there is more to life than the everyday material things which surround us. Life is something to do with love, beauty, goodness, faithfulness and hope. Christians long for something of eternal value, something greater and beyond ourselves. We find these values in a man called Jesus who taught us to call God our Father, and to believe we could share his life with God. To give expression to these feelings is what worship is all about and our central service at St. Barnabas Church, Crosland Moor, Huddersfield, takes place at 9.15am every Sunday and is open to all. Why not come along, join with us so that you may know something more about God. NEWS. THE ASCENSION DAY SERVICE DUE TO TAKE PLACE AT ST.
